Entering into His rest

Mat 11:28"Come to Me, all [you] who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Mat 11:29"Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Mat 11:30"For My yoke [is] easy and My burden is light."    In the busy - ness (business) of the day, take time, make time, designate a time to spend in the presence of the Lord.  It is in these times we receive refreshing.  It is in these times God speaks.
Pro 16:9 " In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps."  Make plans, but rest in knowing that there are some things you have no control over, that you already have the grace for whatever comes your way and mercy for when you need it.  Psa 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.-  This is "real" rest.  Rest isn't inactivity, rather activity with ease.  To live with the assurance that we serve The True and Living God!  And not only is he God, but we (as little children) have a relationship with him as "Daddy" (Abba Father).  And because he is true to his word, we can take him at it.  We can Believe what he says and the more we spend time in his presence, the more we come to know about him.  The more we come to know about him, the more we get to know "Him".  Knowing Him, will give us the confidence needed to live day by day free from stress, anxiety & the fear of being overwhelmed.  Knowing Him, is knowing Peace where nothing is missing, nothing is lacking but we have everything we need. Knowing Him is Believing Him:   Hbr 4:3For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said: "So I swore in My wrath, 'They shall not enter My rest,' "although the works were finished from the foundation of the world."  Will you enter into His rest today?
